07 Jul K&A Places Chief Information Officer for Deltek
July 7, 2009 – Deltek, Inc. (Nasdaq: PROJ), the leading provider of enterprise applications software for project-focused businesses, announced today that it has appointed Deb Fitzgerald as its new Chief Information Officer. In this position, Ms. Fitzgerald is responsible for developing and implementing the technology vision for Deltek worldwide. She will report directly to Kevin Parker, Deltek’s president and CEO.

Fitzgerald is a skilled IT executive with over 15 years of experience delivering world-class technology portfolios that drive innovation for companies. Most recently, she was Vice President of Information Technologies at VeriSign, a leading provider of Internet infrastructure services. While at VeriSign, Fitzgerald implemented value-driven portfolio management processes for both MIS and Corporate IT portfolios. In addition, she also built and managed VeriSign’s Product Development Shared Services organization, which supported the global Product Development team.
Prior to working at VeriSign, Ms. Fitzgerald was the Director of Professional Services at Artesia Technologies – a leader in enterprise Digital Asset Management solutions, and a Managing Consultant at James Martin & Co. – a global process consultant and solution delivery firm.
