An entrepreneur at both big and small companies for more than 25 years, Neal is an executive recruiter at Washington, DC-based Krauthamer & Associates. Prior to joining Krauthamer, Neal was an advisor, consultant, and investor in a number of technology startups including UtilityLink, RightEye, BrainSentry, and Barrel of Jobs. In 2012, Neal sold Gifford’s Ice Cream & Candy, Co., a regional ice cream manufacturer that he grew from one ice cream store in 2004 into a retail/wholesale regional brand with multiple stores, over 250 wholesale food service customers, and over 500 grocery store customers. Prior to acquiring Gifford’s, Neal spent 8 years at Discovery Channel, as Vice President, Licensing and 4 years at Bally’s Total Fitness as Director of Marketing. Neal has a BA in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA in Marketing from the University of North Carolina/Chapel Hill’s Kenan-Flagler school. He lives in Chevy Chase, Maryland with his wife, 3 kids, and yellow labrador retriever.
