After initially joining the firm full-time in 2014, Mr. Hong transitioned to an advisor in 2022 and joined Google’s Executive Search team. At Google, he supported Google Core, their centralized tech function, with a specific focus on their largest vertical – Core Developer. He has completed numerous searches for executives in Engineering, Product Management, and Program Management roles. 

During his earlier tenure at KA, Mr. Hong led and executed full-cycle engagements with clients in a variety of fields such as aviation, professional services, transportation, government, financial services, and cybersecurity. He also supported many private equity firms in filling key positions within portfolio companies. 

Mr. Hong played an integral role in the firm’s growth, both domestically and internationally with a focus on placements in Asia. He is excited to rejoin the firm and leverage his expertise to continue to drive growth for K&A and recruit exceptional talent for the firm’s clients.

Mr. Hong graduated from the University of Michigan with a B.S. in Economics with a concentration in Mathematics. Mr. Hong is also fluent in Mandarin.
